The aim of the project was to increase primary school students’ awareness and knowledge regarding hygiene and oral–dental health, and to contribute to the development of healthy lifestyle habits at an early age.
In line with this objective, informative presentations were delivered to students throughout the project process. Posters were designed and displayed within the school to visually reinforce hygiene rules, and informational brochures were distributed to enable students to review the content at home together with their families.
Additionally, toothbrushing tracking charts, coloring booklets, and motivational stickers were prepared and implemented. Interactive classroom activities were conducted, and in collaboration with teachers, the students’ habit development process was monitored.
At the conclusion of the project, feedback from both teachers and students was evaluated. It was observed that hygiene awareness had strengthened, toothbrushing behavior had become more regular, and healthy lifestyle practices had been integrated into classroom routines.
